2023-2025 Project highlights
Role: Project Manager, Creative Director, Editor, Designer/Co-Designer
About 2023-2025 Project Highlights. Between 2023-2025, I successfully managed and helped execute 377 graphic design projects for the college, delivering creative and impactful visuals across various platforms. From branding and marketing materials to event promotions and digital assets, the work has enhanced communication, engagement and the college’s visual identity. Each project reflects our commitment to quality, innovation and strategic design, ensuring every piece resonates with its audience.
This achievement has been made possible thanks to the collaboration and support of my director and the incredible student design team, whose creativity and dedication brought each project to life. Their expertise and teamwork have been instrumental in making every design meaningful and effective.
The projects listed above are a very small portion of what was produced in the graphic design area alone.
2020 INTERNATIONAL INSIGHT magazine
Role: Lead Designer and Editor
About International Insight. International Insight is a publication that highlights Temple’s globalization efforts—international student life, study abroad, faculty research and achievements, partnerships, and everything international. This annual magazine is produced by the Office of International Affairs Communications team including Lisa Meritz (Editor in Chief), Suzanne Willever (writer and editor), Rachel Jenkins (writer and editor), Ivy Hoa Nguyen (lead designer and editor) and Ashley Phifer (copy editor).
2020 marked the sixth year of the magazine. We felt we needed a new look, particularly since we were adjusting the audience. Previously, the magazine was mostly for faculty and staff. Last year, we decided to include a couple features to reach out to current and prospective students including international students, and those who might be interested in studying abroad.
With this in mind, the magazine was redesigned by Marketing Coordinator Ivy Hoa Nguyen to create an engaging look that appeals to Generation Z, while still appealing to other audiences as well.
About the Cover. Cover illustrated by Marissa Klick, ‘20, a student intern from the Tyler School of Art who is now employed as the Junior Graphic Designer at Nick Jr. Art direction by Ivy Hoa Nguyen.
2020 DBMD INTERACTIVE BROCHURE
Role: Lead Designer and Content Curator
About the Brochure. With the growing trend of digital communications and to adapt to the impact of COVID-19 on international in-person recruitment, Temple University’s Global Programs office quickly decided to move beyond traditional print materials. DBMD digital brochure not only offers an overview of Temple's programs for students of partner universities, but it also provides them with an interactive and engaging experience via different forms of media and visual elements integrated into the brochure. This piece allows students to access the information they need in just one click, scan or tap away, from home or anywhere around the world. It is a great tool for the Global Programs staff to expand their reach in the digital world, which is a disadvantage of a paper brochure.
